School Time Again...

Well Spring semester has started, and already I am buried in a pile of homework. :/

I have a novel, three textbooks, articles, lab manual, pre-lab and post-lab quizzes, and other little readings to do. It has only been two weeks since the semester started and I am already worn out. I can't wait for summer!

My Mizzou heart just broke a little. Mizzou was beaten very badly by Kansas tonight. We couldn't hit a shot to save our life. I just hope the rest of the season goes better, and that we get revenge in March!

I hope to update this thing more than I have been. School and life have gotten a little messy, so I am finding myself with not a lot of free time. Hopefully once the semester gets a good balance to it in homework and reading, I will be able to enjoy some free time. :)

School...Again...

Well, yesterday was the first day of classes. Where did my summer go?

I only had one class yesterday, Comparative Government and Politics. It sounds like it is going to be an interesting class, because we are going to study six regions of the world and compare some of the governments established in each of the regions. It also is going to be sort of a history class, because government is shaped by history. For example, when studying Russia, we are first going to learn about the U.S.S.R, and then learn about Russia's current government. I'm hoping that this class is going to be very informative.

I moved into my new apartment on Sunday. My mom, dad, grandma, and sister helped me move in, along with my roommie, Ashley and her boyfriend, Chris. Chris and my dad set up my bed, my mom built my desk chair, and Matty, grandma, and I moved all of my stuff from my car into the apartment. It was a busy day, because there was a ton of stuff that I needed to move in. At the end of the day, the hallway and kitchen was filled with empty boxes, and a lot of full tubs of kitchen essentials and clothes. But, I have had a blast ever since I moved in. :)

I was asked on Monday to be in one of my friend's wedding. I will be a bridesmaid! This is my first wedding where I will be a bridesmaid. I was a flower girl twice when I was little. Once for my dad's friend, Scott's wedding and the other time was for my dad's cousin, Tim's wedding. I am excited to try on fancy dresses and to get my hair all fancied up.

It has rained for the past four days here in Warrensburg. Luckily, it hasn't rained when I am walking to/from my car to class/work. But, it doesn't look like it is going to stop raining today. :/

I applied at numerous jobs here with no luck. I applied yesterday at a bank in Sedalia, so I am hoping that I get a call.

Out.

Could school be any more cruel?

Ok, so you know college can be stressful. Well, next week is going to be absolutely horrible. :(

I found out yesterday that I am going to have three exams next week. That's right, three exams. I'm totally not looking forward to that! Luckily, they are spaced out to where I have a day in between each one. But, still....not looking forward to it. :(

I have two quizes this week that I need to study for. I have to read three articles for my history quiz and study five steps to writing a persuasive speech for my public speaking class. BTW, I better get on reading those articles....

I'm looking forward to this weekend, because the week after spring break is torchure. My suitemates have been extreemly loud over the past couple of days, which hinders the sleeping at night. I can't wait to get a good night's sleep and be able to rest. Oh, and I get my hair cut! WOO HOO!

Well...that's an update on what's going on in Amber's world. :P
